1 We need to get very, very smart, very quickly. It has never been more important to implement leading edge knowledge, particularly on the acquisition of customers and online marketing. And it has never been more appropriate to immerse yourself in understanding what the 1% of high achievers are doing differently because yes, while many are struggling, there are high performers in every industry who are turning adversity to their advantage and getting very wealthy as a result.

2 You need to build a marketing fortress out of your business where you become so good and so effective at getting customers, the pain of BREXIT or a departing staff member or whatever, becomes irrelevant to you. I can show you many business owners who increased their profits by 200% or more in the last year. They find the antics of our politicians ridiculous and mildly amusing, while their competitors find them terrifying. It remains a simple fact that in business, money solves most problems. In business, money only comes from customers. Customers only come from great marketing. And nobody is born a great marketer. It is simply a choice. The biggest influence on your business this year won’t be the economic and political forces that you can’t control. If they are not Entrepreneurs they don’t ‘get’ what’s required and they probably don’t fully ‘get’ you. Which is fine. That’s not their job. But you need to spend time with people who do get you – and who have the answers to your biggest challenges and frustrations. Plus when it comes to Marketing and Online Marketing, you need access to the best.

Which brings me to – my calendar.

So I looked at my calendar the other day and got a bit of a shock.

It’s been almost three years since my last Mastermind meeting with business owners.

You are probably familiar with the concept of Mastermind meetings.

Over the last 20 years, they have been the pinnacle of the work I do with business owners and they have consistently achieved the most dramatic results.

Masterminds are small, private, closed door meetings. They normally have a maximum of 10 to 12 business owners in the room and normally run for two days.

At a Mastermind meeting, each person attending is given time for us to focus purely on their business. You tell me and the other business owners in the room your biggest frustrations or challenges and we go to work solving them.

It could be online marketing related. You might want to overhaul your website or Google Ads strategy, in which case we’ll look at your site and account and go to work.

It could be a bigger picture marketing or business strategy that you need help with.

It could be related to staff, recruitment or management.

Or you might have a series of very specific questions relating to some or all of the above.

Ideally, what you bring to the group should be challenges or opportunities which when worked through and resolved, will be worth at least six figures to you. We’ve had many Mastermind meetings where me and the other business owners have come up with what we call ‘Million Pound Answers’.
